We are excited to launch our first garden tour! These tours are a great way to see what kinds of native plants might work for your own landscaping, and for getting ideas from the hosts about how to get started.
Elizabeth first started incorporating native plants into her garden 3 years ago. She allowed one portion of her lawn to re-wild itself, and she smothered other parts of her lawn with thick layers of mulch. She then installed purchased and winter-sown native plants in each plot and encouraged native volunteer plants from the wild to grow. She now has 75+ different types of native plants.
