We'll be taking a carpool field trip to Dawn’s Wild Things Rescue Nursery, the biggest nursery in our region that specializes in native plants! As the nursery is in Valley Falls NY, a 1-hour drive southeast of Queensbury, NY, this is an opportunity to take an economical road trip with your fellow native plant enthusiasts to visit this hidden gem.
We ask attendees to pack a lunch, snacks, and drinks. Dawn accepts cash and cards for purchases at the nursery.
The schedule will be:
12:45-1:00 pm: Meet up at the Target parking lot, near the Tesla charging stations. Get restroom breaks before leaving!
1:00 - Drive to Valley Falls, NY
2:00 - Shop, have a picnic! There are chairs around a campfire to eat and chat together.
3:00- Drive back to Queensbury, NY.
4:00 - Arrive back at the Queensbury Target parking lot. If you are coming from far out of town and would like to shop some more, the nearby Silo Gift Shop across the street has some nice Adirondack-themed goods.
